Photography is my passion but not my life. I spend my time off work with camera in hand searching for that elusive moment of light. My favourite photographs are when light streams through gaps in clouds, when light is 'feathered' across the landscape. Although I use filters and a bit of processing in Photoshop, I never resort to heavy handed changes such as transferring the sky from one time or location across to a landscape taken elsewhere. I pride myself on having a 'light' touch on my digital images. Yes, if you had been standing next to me when I took a photograph, you would have seen what was captured on the camera.

This same 'light' touch extends to photography of human subjects. I aim to take natural looking photographs with as little posing as possible.
