I've just back from a fascinating 2 1/2 weeks in Iceland. The country threw me many challenges, from grey rainy days, to snow, to clouds of volcanic ash, to high winds. But it was great fun and, best of all, I returned the hire car unscathed! Despite attempts by sheep and birds to kill themselves under the wheels...
