Weddings & Civil Partnerships
I enjoy watching two people affirm their desire to spend the rest of their lives together. To try to capture the shifting emotions of the big day is a challenge and a joy!
However I can only undertake a small number of these each year because I am usually on the other side of the camera. As a full time priest in the Church of England I conduct a number of weddings every year in the churches of the team.
The advantage of using me for your wedding photography is that I know exactly how a wedding service unfolds. And if you're using a church in my catchment area (Daventry/Coventry/Northampton) then there's a chance that I'll know the minister there. This should help in negotiations for photography in the church, although please note that the local minister has the final say on what will be permitted.
At present few churches will host blessings of civil partnerships. But registry offices usually make the event memorable and of course you have a wide range of venues for the celebrations afterwards at which good quality photographs can be taken.
